British Festival Fun
Living in Hampshire, I’m a huge lover of the countryside and all those quintessentially English things we associate with it. For me Glastonbury is just as much of a British institution as Cream Tea or Pimms.
We aren’t going along this year, although I so wish we were; my daughter Frankie Forman is playing The Green Fields today at 12:50 and then the Strummerville stage on Sunday at 5pm, so if anyone is going along do snap me a picture!
If you are lucky enough to be heading along this weekend and have made it through the traffic in one piece, then have a lovely time! It’s such a fun, classically British festival, right down to the mud, and I’ll be ever so slightly jealous of you all until next year! Well, maybe not too jealous if the Glastonbury Instagram feed is anything to go by…
Have a great weekend all and I hope the weather dries out at least a little bit for you!
